MELA's green goddess yogurt sauce

This sauce / dressing is liquid gold. It makes a ton, but we always find a way to use it all pretty quickly - as salad dressing, drizzled on salmon, chicken, tofu or vegetables, as a dip for raw veggies and a toddler dipping sauce for literally anything…we both make this weekly these days and can’t get enough.

MELA’s yogurt green goddess
yields ~1 1/2 cups

Ingredients
2/3 cup organic greek yogurt (or substitute plain coconut yogurt for dairy free)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (2-3 limes)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
handful of cilantro and/or mint (we often use both, ~1/4 cup each)
1 tablespoon honey
2 scallions, roughly chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Enjoy immediately, or store leftover dressing in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
